The Story: Impressed with the WEDGWOOD-mark without date letters - this mark was used from 1759-1860. Its colour dates it to pre-1820 and it may be "Old Wedgwood". Among collectors the term Old Wedgwood is taken to refer to wares produced before Josiah's death in 1795. Old Wedgwood is finely crafted and has a character of its own which is impossible to convey in either words or photographs.
